Savannah East News
It was another wonderful day at RCSE!  President Mark Sprosty reminded members of our July Service Project where we collect school supplies for our partner school, Haven Elementary.  We will be delivering the supplies on Friday, July 26, and will serve breakfast to the faculty at Haven.  He also asked for people to sign up to attend the meeting on July 19th at SEDA.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Bruce Clemons spoke to our club about the project he has in Guatemala.
It was a wonderful day to have an Officer Installation!  Before President Andrew Cosey handed the reins over to incoming President Mark Sprosty, Andrew announced the Back to School Breakfast with Haven Elementary and the School Supply drive for the students.  He also spoke briefly about his time as President saying he was honored to have served and thankful for the support he received from the Board and all of RCSE Members.  He then asked Cindy Kelley to come up to preside over Officer Installation.
We enjoyed a busy meeting this week! First, we welcomed our newest RCSE member, Dr. Roy Maynard, to the club!  Next, President Andrew Cosey presented a contribution from the club to Mr. Joe Marchese for the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society.  Finally, Andrew reminded all members of the upcoming June Social and Service Projects.  Once all Rotary business items were complete, Kim Campbell introduced our speaker for the day, Kimberly Ergul, who shared with us her Kindness Initiative.
