On May 19, RCSE met via Zoom in order to hear a presentation on melanoma. President Jason Jones announced a few Rotary business items and then turned the meeting over to Stephen Fine who is the Founder and President of the Melanoma Education Foundation.

This past week, RCSE took our meeting outdoors and met at Mother Mathilda Beasley Park for a Picnic in the Park and a presentation by fellow member Bill Von Alt about the program Leave No Trace. Even though it was a bit windy, it was a perfect day to be outdoors. President Jason Jones opened the meeting and then turned it over to Bill.
This past Friday, the meeting started by have a Red Badge member become a Blue Badge member. Congratulations to Tonya Hillis for completing all necessary steps to becoming a Blue Badge! President Jason Jones reminded everyone to please RSVP for the Picnic in the Park which will be next Friday, May 12th. Once all Rotary Business items were discussed, Gordon Matthews along with Wade Herring and Becky Cheatham led a panel discussion on Judge Frank Cheatham.
This past Friday, RCSE learned about TEDxSavannah from speaker Brian Judson! President Elect Andrew Cosey announced that the RCSE meeting on Friday, May 12th, will be at Mother Mathilda Beasley Park. Please RSVP with Kerri so the correct amount of food is ordered for our Picnic in the Park! Once all Rotary items were discussed, Katie Gingrich introduced Brian.
