This is a reminder that Holiday Cards need to be brought back to the meeting ASAP.  Tonya Hillis and Laura Lane McKinnon will be delivering them to various nursing homes December 19 - December 21.  Therefore, we need everyone to please bring them to our next two meetings on December 2nd and December 9th.  Thank you so much for participating in this December service project!
RCSE had another great meeting this past Friday.  Katie Gingrich gave her Member Minute and Te Turner joined our club!  President Jason Jones reminded everyone of the upcoming December social and service project on Wednesday, December 14th.  If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Kerri at rotarysavannaheast@gmail.com. Once all business items were discussed, Laura Lane McKinnon introduced our speaker for the day, Susan Catron, who is Managing Editor of The Current.
It was another fabulous meeting for RCSE!  This past week, Mark Friday filled in for Ed Engel on Fines.  Let's just say a lot of money was collected!  Many members had Happy dollars as well.  As a reminder, once $1000 is raised through Fines, Happy and Raffle, the money will be donated to a local charity - The Dive Savannah.  Marianne Ganem- Poppell gave her Member Minute.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Sam Eskew (ADG) introduced Heather Kellen who is the District Governor for District 6920!
After taking a little bit of break, this past Friday RCSE started FINES again with Ed Engel.  Ed collected a good amount of money so everyone should come prepared to our next meeting!  Laura Lane McKinnon announced the Real Men Read event at Haven Elementary on Thursday, November 17th, which is being chaired by Bill Von Alt.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Katie Wohlust introduced our speaker for the day, Ret. Col. Richard Noel.
