President Laura Lane McKinnon opened the meeting by thanking all those who were able to attend the RCSE October Social at Bow Tie BBQ.  A fun time was had by all who attended!  After all business items were discussed, Erin Wessling spoke to the club about Give Change That Counts which is a campaign initiative aimed at reducing panhandling in our area.
It was a great day at RCSE and a wonderful way to begin the 2nd Quarter with a new member induction - Marianne Ganem-Poppell!  Along with Marianne's induction, RCSE welcomed many guests at our meeting and had a very interesting presentation on dirt!  Before our speaker began, President Laura Lane reminded members to please return their Thanksgiving Cards once they were complete.  After all Rotary business items were discussed, Laura Lane introduced Steven Moore (manager of Dry Bulk Operations at Colonial Terminal, Inc) who spoke to us about kaolin clay.
President Laura Lane McKinnon started the meeting by reminding members of the Thanksgiving Card service project.  If you have taken a packet home with you, please remember to bring the completed cards back to the meeting.  We will be giving the cards to Meals on Wheels to distribute the cards to homebound and isolated seniors the week of Thanksgiving.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Laura Lane introduced our speaker, Amy Shippy, who talked about entrepreneurship.
Another Friday and another engaging presentation at RCSE!  President Laura Lane McKinnon reminded everyone of the Thanksgiving Card service project and encouraged members to take a packet home with them.  She also announced that there would be a Board Meeting following the meeting.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Jason Jones introduced Kewaan Drayton and Madison Abernathy who spoke about Red Eye Film Productions and The Savannah Underground.
