Tybee Island Lighthouse

Tybee Island Light station had a history that stretches over three centuries. It has been through wars, earthquakes, and hurricanes and still stands the test of time as it welcomes over 100,000 visitors every year. The lighthouse is still an active aid to navigation and the Tybee Island Historical Society, in partnership with the United States Coast Guard, makes sure that the lighthouse will continue to stand strong for generations to come.
