We will be meeting at SEDA this Friday for our meeting. SEDA is located at 906 Drayton Street across from Forsyth Park. There is a parking lot is available for parking.
Our speaker for the meeting will be Trip Tollison. Trip is the President and CEO of the Savannah Economic Development Authority, overseeing all aspects of the organization including business attraction, business retention and expansion, the Savannah Regional Film Commission, and World Trade Center Savannah. He will provide a brief overview of the Savannah Economic Development Authority and the Hyundai Motor Group project.
We will also have a new member induction on Friday, Emily Kurilla! RCSE looks forward to seeing all members and guests on July 19th!

School Supply Drive for
Haven Elementary
This is the last week that we will be collecting school supplies from the official SCCPSS school supply list for students at Haven Elementary School, our partner school for our July service project. Please bring supplies to one of the July meetings to be collected and delivered to the school before the school year begins. Here is the link for the supplies that are needed:
For those members who prefer to donate funds, rather than supplies, please give cash or your check to either Andrew Cosey or Kerri Culver, who have graciously agreed to shop for us again this year.
It was another wonderful day at RCSE! President Mark Sprosty reminded members of our July Service Project where we collect school supplies for our partner school, Haven Elementary. We will be delivering the supplies on Friday, July 26, and will serve breakfast to the faculty at Haven. He also asked for people to sign up to attend the meeting on July 19th at SEDA. Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Bruce Clemons spoke to our club about the project he has in Guatemala.
Dr. Bruce Clemens shared about his decades of work providing clean water and sanitation in rural Guatemala. While clean drinking water has an obvious public health benefit, Bruce also pointed out how clean water decreases poverty and can lead to an overall better quality of life. He encouraged all members to join him on their group trip to Guatemala in February 2025. The trip will provide learning opportunities in the process that is used to address rural potable water, sanitation, and economic development. If you are interested in traveling with Bruce to Guatemala, please let us know and we will provide you the information.
