Katheryne began her presentation by telling the story as to how GRSP was founded in 1946.  Since its inception, GRSP has had more than 3700 students participate in the program.  Currently, there are 44 students in this year's class from 21 countries.  96 clubs in Georgia are sponsoring the students and they are attending 23 colleges (both public and private).  Students are responsible for their own airfare, visa fees, scholarship taxes and personal health insurance.  In addition to attending school, the students also participate in five meetings throughout the year that are sponsored/hosted by Rotary clubs all over the State of Georgia and are required to go to their District Conference.  Katheryne believes that this program exemplifies the part of the Four Way Test that states "build goodwill and better friendships."  Throughout her presentation, she gave updates on previous students and how this program has impacted their lives.  She concluded by talking about the Oslo International Summer School program which is an all expense paid summer scholarship for students from Georgia to attend a six week summer program in Oslo, Norway.  To learn more about GRSP, please visit their website https://grsp.org/ or follow them on their social media pages.
