Advancements in Avaiation

The Future Air Navigation System (FANS) is a set of technologies and procedures aimed at improving air traffic management and communication between aircraft and air traffic control. It includes features such as Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC) for digital communication between pilots and air traffic controllers, and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) for real-time aircraft surveillance. The goal of FANS is to increase efficiency, reduce fuel consumption, safety, and capacity in air traffic management system while reducing the workload of Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers.
