It was a great day at The Pirates House!  President Jason Jones informed the membership of our upcoming field trip to Mickve Israel where Jim Wellen will be giving us a private tour!  Members need to RSVP for this event in order to give the caterer a headcount.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Jason introduced our speaker for the day, Jordan Fennell.

Jordan Fennell helps people write autobiographies, family history's, and memoirs.  He has a degree in Creative Writing and was inspired to choose this career path due to all the great story tellers in his family.  With the digital world being so prevalent in our life, most people don't write down stories their stories or even send letters.   And the letters that are written, aren't written with the same detail as they were 70 years ago.  Jordan's biggest tip to writing a book is to start with an outline so you don't lose your way or get off track.  If you want to publish a book, you must have at least 6000-7000 words or around 200 pages.  If you are writing a book for your family, then length does not matter.  Jordan's mission is to help people with their personal history.  To learn more about Jordan and his services, please visit https://www.legacybiography.net/
