There were a lot of inductions this past Friday at RCSE with a new member, Michael Solomon, and the induction of the new Board for the upcoming Fiscal Year. Ben Brewer reminded everyone of the Rotary Night Out at the Savannah Bananas game on Tuesday, July 16th and also announced the sign up for the Back to School Breakfast at Haven Elementary on Friday, August 2nd. In addition to providing breakfast for the teachers at Haven, RCSE will also be donating the books that are given to speakers as a gift and bringing school supplies. Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Past District Governor and Past RCSE President John Neely presided over the Officer Installation.
Due to an open position in President-Elect from this past year, there will be a hybrid of President's for this upcoming year. Karl Bohnstedt will be President for Q1, Gordon Matthews for Q2, Ben Brewer for Q3, and Cindy Kelley for Q4. The other officers are: Immediate Past President - Cindy Kelley, President Elect - Laura Lane McKinnon, Secretary - Laura Lane McKinnon, Treasurer - Bruce Montogmery, and Sergeant-At-Arms - Mel Mrochinski. After the Officer Installation, Laura Lane provided information on upcoming speakers, social and service projects.
