During the June 18th meeting, a small group presented on future plans for RCSE for this upcoming fiscal year.  Before the plans were discussed, President Laura Lane reminded everyone that 4th quarter dues are due.  She also informed the membership that the Metro club has invited our club to join them on June 24 from 6-8 for an end of year social.  If you would like to participate, please contact Laura Lane for more information.  Finally, Laura Lane said that an anonymous donor is agreeing to match $0.50 on the dollar for anyone who makes a donation to the End Polio Now campaign before the end of June.  After all Rotary business items were discussed, Katie Wohlust started the presentation.

A small group of members gathered the Thursday before Memorial Day to discuss the future of RCSE for this upcoming fiscal year.  The group reviewed what other clubs were doing, talked about various challenges, and discussed how to increase member engagement.  It was their recommendation to hold meetings on average 3 times a month.  In addition to the meetings, the group felt we needed to add one social and service project each month.   Some of the upcoming social and service projects are school supplies for Haven Elementary, Clean Coast, Picnic in the Park, and PACK.  The committee also wants to strongly encourage each member to invite one guest a quarter.  The presentation was concluded by showing the membership a list of vacant board and committee positions.
