It was a wonderful Friday to learn more about a few of our new members!  Before Member Minutes began, President Kim Campbell collected many Happy dollars and reminded those in attendance of a few upcoming dates on the Rotary calendar.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Laura Lane McKinnon introduced our trio of speakers!

Meketa Hendricks-Brown spoke about her family, her passion for youth development, and encouraged everyone to "shoot your shot!"  Chris Rollowitz talked about his time in Texas, his service in the Air Force, and his business which he opened in 2022 to help families navigate the aging process of their older members.  Then, Amy Green shared her love of Georgia football, her work history, and how at times it might be hard, but we all need to look for the blessings in our life.

We also watched a video from DG Terry Adkins who gave a mid year update on District 6920.  He spoke on the need to embrace change in order to minimize member attrition and to attract new people to Rotary. He explained the premise behind starting a companion club and discussed how Rotarians can become a part of the Polio Plus Society. He encouraged everyone to attend the District Conference which will be held May 1-3 in Macon.  Finally, he closed his presentation with gratitude to all Rotarians in District 6920.
