It was another wonderful meeting at The Pirates House this Friday.  President Laura Lane McKinnon reminded everyone of the February Service Project at P.A.C.K. on Thursday, February 17th, and the February Social which is the Annual RCSE Oyster Roast on Saturday, February 26th.  We also had a new member induction - Elizabeth Brown!  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Victoria Baylor spoke to the club about how to develop your personal brand.

Victoria started by saying your personal brand really means your value.   Most people focus on what they are selling or offering.  Your greatest asset is yourself and not your service because you are unique!  It all comes down to people connecting with other people.  Victoria says you should carefully manage impressions because it takes the brain seven seconds to make a decision on people.   She encouraged everyone to come up with their personal brand "secret sauce."  Your secret sauce recipe should include ingredients such as values, experiences, education, passions, and personality.  Finally, she says you should own your intelligence and you need to build your value and your story.  To learn more about Victoria and the services she offers, please visit her website https://www.victoriabaylor.com
