It was another great Friday at The Pirates House with many members and guests in attendance!  President Jason Jones gave a recap of the Haven Elementary Back to School Breakfast and thanked all members for their contributions in order to purchase school supplies.  RCSE was able to give over $1200 worth of supplies to the students at Haven Elementary.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Laura Lane McKinnon introduced our speaker for the day - Emy Crinklaw-Bunch.

Emy says it is important to check in with our bodies.  Radical self-care creates a balance in our lives and we need to incorporate more actions of love to ourselves.  She then had us take a moment to rate how we were feeling on a scale of 1-10.  After that, she guided the group through an eight minute meditation.  Afterwards, she asked if the meditation changed our rating and what did we learn from this exercise.

Health and wellness is the foundation to our well-being.  As a gift for our time and attention, Emy offered everyone in attendance a free one hour consultation.  To learn more about Emy and her practice, please visit www.EmilyRuth.Health
