It was a wonderful day for two more new member inductions. Welcome to the club Ivy and Lindsay! April has turned into membership month at RCSE and it has been great to welcome so many people into our club. After all Rotary business items were discussed, President Laura Lane McKinnon introduced our speaker for the day, Conni Reynolds, who spoke to the club about the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce.
Conni began by saying that 85-90% of the members of the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce are small business. During the pandemic, small businesses were the backbone of Savannah's economy. Networking is essential for small businesses and the Chamber offers many events for members throughout the year. There are currently over 2000 members. After Conni gave a brief overview telling our members about the various services and networking opportunities that the Savannah Chamber of Commerce offers to its member businesses, many of our members had questions so an engaging discussion followed.
