Savannah Jazz Festival

Savannah Jazz's Executive Director, Paula Fogarty, discusses the legacy of Savannah's Jazz History which is as old and important as that of New Orlean's. She will hit the highlights of this history through images and narratives featured in The Savannah Jazz History and Hall of Fame Exhibit that she curated and opened for the organization in September of 2022. From legends as Joe "King" Oliver to Johnny Mercer and Ben Tucker, the Jazz Hall of Fame is replete with over 45 Jazz greats. She will also review the lineup and importance of the 42nd Annual Savannah Jazz Festival and what the event means to the cultural landscape of Savannah.
