Asia is the Executive Director of FFM and will present on their mission and the many ways FFM connects our community with fresh, local food while supporting local growers and producers. She will highlight the Saturday market, food access initiatives, SNAP/EBT doubling and enrollment services, Farm Fresh 912 food distribution, the 912 Food Farmacy produce prescription program, and our Youth Booth nutrition and agriculture education program. Together, these programs demonstrate how Forsyth Farmers’ Market works to make healthy, locally grown food more accessible to everyone in our community.

october 23, 2026 - purple pinkie project
In honor of World Polio Day, RCSE will be participating in the Purple Pinkie Project! The Purple Pinkie Project is a community fundraising and awareness campaign run by Rotary clubs to support global polio eradication. When health workers vaccinate children against polio in countries where the disease is still a threat, they mark the child's pinkie finger with a topical purple dye. We are asking members and guests to donate $5 — the estimated cost to immunize five children — to have their own pinkie painted purple. All funds raised will go to the Rotary Foundation End Polio Now campaign.
