What a fun Friday at RCSE! The club presented Blessings in a Bookbag a check for $1000! This money was raised from Happy and Raffle over the past six months. We also had two transferring Rotarians join our club! Welcome to Cheri Dean and Ron Kranich! After all Rotary business items were discussed, Kim Campbell introduced Dee Daniels and Megan Mason who presented on podcasting.
Dee and Megan started their own media company, Dee Daniels Media, to cater to small business and nonprofits. An estimated 68 million people in the US listen to podcasts weekly and storytelling about your business in your own words makes a significant impact. Dee and Megan have a mobile studio that will come to you. They will coach you on getting your message out to drive people to take action and help you determine the number of seasons and episodes for your podcast. They also will put your podcast on all the major platforms as well as make QR codes. Since moving to Savannah two years ago, they have produced eight podcasts including "Made of Savannah" with Corcoran Austin Hill Realty and "Soundtrack of Savannah" with the Savannah Philharmonic.
