Col Thomas (call sign “Tracker”) is the commander of the Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), Georgia Air National Guard at the Savannah Hilton Head International Airport, Georgia.  He will talk to us about why the Air Force War Fighter wants to train in Savannah and how Savannah is preparing the next generation of fighter pilots.  Tracker is a phenomenal speaker, who comes highly recommended from the Kiwanis Club! Join us for his informative and exciting talk.

RCSE hopes to see all members at our first Club Assembly Day since 2020! Kim Campbell will share the results of the membership survey, and all members will have an opportunity to learn about the ways they can get more involved in the club.

 

Just who was Paul Harris? And what is the Rotary Foundation? Join RCSE on Friday, August 16 to learn the answers to both of these questions, hear from three of our club's most incredible Rotarians, and learn how you to can become a Paul Harris Fellow.

We will be heading back out to Tybee Island on Sunday, 18th, from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM to help our friends at Fight Dirty Tybee clean up the beach!  All equipment will be provided.  The meeting point for this service project is 1590 Strand Avenue. 

Dr. Watts, the superintendent of SCCPS, will be giving us an update on Savannah Chatham County Public Schools.  She aims to rally a village of educators, administrators and parents around raising students' literary rates.  

Join your fellow Rotarians on Thursday, August 29th, from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at Cohen's Retreat!  All members are encouraged to bring family, friends, and prospective members to this fun and casual social event.  Although there is not a cost to attend, everyone will be responsible for their own tab.
