We will be meeting at The Pirates House this Friday in our normal meeting room - Captain Flints Hall.
Our speaker for the meeting this week is GRSP student Sarah Gomez Jordan! Sarah will be introducing herself and telling us more about her background and home in Columbia. We will also hear how we can support Sarah throughout her year in Georgia. Let's give Sarah a warm RCSE welcome!
RCSE looks forward to seeing all members and guests on Friday!

Hard copies and a QR code to take the survey on your phone will also be available at our meetings. Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey!
October Service project - Alzheimer's assocation walk on Saturday, october 3
Please join your fellow Rotarians by volunteering at the Alzheimer's Association Walk on Saturday, October 3, in Forsyth Park. We are looking for volunteers to set-up (7am - 9am), greet (8:30am - 10:30am), check in walkers at the registration table (8:30am - 10:30am), and hand out water at the water station (10:30am - 12:30pm). Please email Kerri at rotarysavannaheast@gmail.com if you are able to volunteer.
It was a fun Friday at The Pirates House this past week. Before our speaker read us some of her short stories, President Conni Reynolds announced the October Service Project which will be on Saturday, October 3, at Forsyth Park. She also reminded all in attendance about the September Social at Tubby's and that Q1 dues are due! Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Melanie Farrant introduced our speaker, author Jessica Leigh Lebos.
Jessica Leigh Lebos is the author of Savannah Sideways and The Camellia Thief & Other Tales, as well as creator of The Savannah Sideways Podcast. Jessica began by telling us a bit about herself and her creative writing journey. She writes about Savannah and says one of the best things about our city is that it is welcoming to everyone. Jessica then read us three excerpts from her book which were about paranormal activity at The Pink House, being the wife of an avid SEC football fan, and the transition from Summer to Fall in the South.
