September 4, 2026 - No meeting
Rotary Club of Savannah East will NOT be meeting this Friday, September 4, due to Labor Day Weekend! We send our appreciation and respect to the workers of every field!
september 11, 2026 - tom hollis
Tom Hollis is a retired psychologist. He received his master’s degree from the University of Dayton and his doctoral degree from the University of Tennessee where he was trained at the University Counseling Center. His career included the community mental health center in Savannah, both full time and part time for 16 years. He was in a private practice group, Savannah Psychotherapy Center, for 34 years where he specialized in individual and couples counseling. Tom will be giving a presentation titled "Sleep: How to get enough, and why it's important."
september 18, 2026 - jessica leigh lebos 
Jessica Leigh Lebos writes about interesting people, enchanting places, and the compelling—and often confounding—connections in between. She is the author of two books, Savannah Sideways and The Camellia Thief & Other Tales, as well as The Savannah Sideways Podcast, a 10-episode history-mystery that unravels one of the city's strangest stories. She has received multiple awards from the National Society of Newspaper Columnists and introduces herself at cocktail parties as "Southern by marriage."

Our speaker for the meeting this week is GRSP student Sarah Gomez Jordan!  Sarah will be introducing herself and telling us more about her background and home in Columbia. We will also hear how we can support Sarah throughout her year in Georgia.  Let's give Sarah a warm RCSE welcome! 
september 30, 2026 - social at tubby's tank house
Join your fellow Rotarians on Wednesday, September 30, from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM at Tubby's Tank House in Thunderbolt for our monthly social and stay for Tubby's regularly scheduled Bingo night beginning at 7:00 PM!  All members are encouraged to bring family, friends, and prospective members to this fun and casual social event.  Although there is not a cost to attend, everyone will be responsible for their own tab.
