RCSE Holiday Party - TONIGHT - Wednesday, December 8th

RCSE members, family and guests will gather tonight from 6pm to 9pm for fellowship, refreshments, and to sing holiday carols with the residents of the Tiny House Village.

We'll gather first at Gordonston Park for refreshments, then trolley down to the Tiny House Village to sing carols, then return to Gordonston Park via trolley.

This event will serve as both our December Social and Service Project, so we hope that all RCSE members will be able to attend!
NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
December 3, 2021 - Meeting Recap
It was a great day for Holiday cheer at RCSE!  President Laura Lane McKinnon reminded members of the Holiday party on Wednesday, December 8th.  Information about the event will be emailed before the party.  Once all Rotary business items were discussed, Laura Lane introduced our speakers for the day - Katy Spencer with Savannah VOICE Festival and musicians Sarah and Justin.

Katy began by giving a brief talk about the Savannah VOICE Festival which is a training program for artists.  In addition to training, SVF also does community outreach.  Recently, they partnered with local school to have students create an opera based on what happens to Cinderella after she gets married.  They also work with Deep and Voices That Heal.  They had to do programs virtually during the pandemic and will continue to offer some virtual programming in the future.  The Savannah VOICE Festival will be making an exciting announcement in January about their upcoming summer programs so stay tuned!  After Katy talked, the club was then serenaded by Sarah with Justin accompanying her on the keyboard with Holiday carols such as Let It Snow and a musical theatre song.
