Our speaker for this week is Dr. Sinisa Ciric who is the Executive Director of the Savannah Music Festival. A distinguished violinist, seasoned orchestra leader, and passionate educator, Dr. Ciric brings three decades of artistic and executive experience to one of the South’s most celebrated music festivals. He will provide an overview of the Savannah Music Festival and its role in bringing world-class music and significant economic and cultural impact to our region. His presentation will also highlight the 2026 Festival (March 25–April 5) and SMF’s education initiatives demonstrating how the festival entertains, educates, and unites our community.

RCSE Oyster Roast

Please mark your calendars for the annual RCSE Oyster Roast. Gordon Matthews has graciously agreed to host us at his home on Tybee Island. There will be a sign up for this event at the meetings or you can RSVP to Kerri at rotarysavananheast@gmail.com. This social is free for all members and is $35 per guest. RCSE looks forward to seeing everyone at the Oyster Roast!
For the last Friday of January, RCSE took our meeting on the road by visiting SCAD! The tour began at Poetter Hall with SCADstory which is an immersive 4D experience where members learned how the SCAD dream came to life over the past four decades. Then, we hopped on a bus to have lunch at Kiah Hall where the SCAD Museum of Art is located. During lunch, Kim Campbell gave a recap of Read United and announced the date of the RCSE Oyster Roast. After lunch, we took a brief walk to SCAD Beach. For those in attendance, the field trip ended with a goodie bag and tickets to return to the SCAD Museum of Art. A huge thank you to SCAD for hosting RCSE!
