Small Town Podcast
Jan 20, 2023 12:00 PM
Rescheduled from Sept. 30th | Matt will talk about the Small Town Podcast. In 2015, Matt successfully ran for the office of mayor in Ocilla, GA and was re-elected in 2017. From this position, he has witnessed the joys and struggles of small towns, and has come to find that these are not only found in his home of Ocilla, but in small towns everywhere. Small Town Podcast is Matt’s effort to share those joys and struggles with others. |

Jan 24, 2023 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Join your fellow RCSE members for an evening of fellowship & fun! This month we'll be at Ardsley Station on the corner of E. Victory and Drayton Streets. They have a fabulous covered patio with a firepit and heaters. This space isn't as family-friendly as some of the others, so kids may not work as well for this event, but please feel free to bring spouses, significant others, friends, and prospective members! No RSVP necessary. Each person is responsible for their own food & beverages. |

Feb 18, 2023 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Our annual Oyster Roast is a favorite of all of the long-time RCSE members. Graciously hosted by Gordon Matthews at his stunningly beautiful home, it's a truly phenomenal event. His home has multiple screened-in porches, a large open air deck, an observation deck, and some incredible hammock islands that are accessible by footpath. We'll have oysters, of course, but also some non-shellfish options for those who aren't oyster eaters. Beer, wine, tea, and water will be available. The club will cover the cost of members to attend, but each additional guest (including kids) will cost $$, which must be paid in advance. Carpooling is encouraged, as parking is limited. |

You May Need the Front Porch
Jul 07, 2023 12:00 PM
Mr. Cargile will share why local juvenile court judges started The Front Porch, how it exists to offer early interventions in a child’s life, and why it exists to help “at risk” youth and the kid that sits across from you in church. He’ll also share easy ways for Rotary members to support The Front Porch mission and refer children they know for free services. |
