We will be meeting at The Pirates House this Friday in the ANNE BONNY room which is the room adjacent to our normal meeting room. The side door to the room will be unlocked if you would prefer to use that entrance.
Our speaker for the meeting this week is Joe Marchese. Joe, current president and one of the founding members of the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society, will share how to successfully incorporate differently-abled employees into your workplace. He will also share success stories from local businesses that have added special needs employees to their staff and talk about the difference they made in the workplace.
RCSE looks forward to seeing all members on Friday!

The Current was launched in 2020 and is an online, nonprofit investigative news organization that provides in-depth journalism for issues that affect Savannah and Coastal Georgia. Susan believes that everyone should have access to information and therefore, they will never charge for their news. The Current has four weekly newsletters that you can sign up to have delivered to your inbox. They primarily focus on education, public safety, health care and environmental issues. They also work with organizations for voter education events. Susan believes in growing young journalists so they employ summer interns each year. The range of people who subscribe to The Current is large and diverse. They are able to provide free news through funding from foundations, grants and individual donors. You can help support The Current by signing up for their newsletter, signing up for text messages, giving them feedback, and donating funds.
